THE DEADLIES
One year ago from an indeterminable passel of metal, glass, and severed veins came a rumbling from underneath the skin of a broken poet from San Francisco and his Los Angeles counterpart Joz of garnered MTV fame Overnight Lows. With a golden head and obsidian face, vocals crystalizing into diamond hairs that stand on the back of every audience member from San Francisco's historic rock 'n roll haven Slim's to Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre, Silverlake's Spaceland, and San Diego's Soma, The Deadlies have emerged with the splendor of ecclesiastical dignitaries of rock 'n roll, sent to condemn, oscillate and hound for the almighty Grail among such predecessors as Austin, Texas's the 13th Floor Elevators, Philadelphia's Cold Cave, and Los Angeles' own Darker My Love.
