They don't even have an album yet, but British post-shoegaze duo the Big Pink already seem too big to play tiny clubs. Singles like "Velvet" and the mighty "Dominos" are pile-ups of bleeding guitars and overdriven drum machines and the sort of vocal hooks that can get stuck in your head for days at a time. It's not hard to imagine them echoing around stadiums. For the next few months, though, the Big Pink will tour the world, and their itinerary includes a trek through smallish North American clubs, their first trek on our shores. If you want to catch them in a small venue, you're best advised to do it now.Debut album A Brief History of Love comes out September 22 in the U.S. (September 14 in the UK) on 4AD, and all bets are off once that thing catches fire.
