You may remember her from her prior music project, "Babaluca", they were based out of Phoenix. They literally reached into our chests, ripped out our hearts and stole them forever! They played Mucho Wednesdays in April of last year with the help from Mundo Rojo entertainment.

Well we were shocked when she went solo, but happy to see that Carla kept creating new music, only now as a solo artist. This time it's her own personal vision, which is haunting, devastating, and absoloutely beautiful!

Since Carla has been in Mexico, she has been working very hard on her new material and touring almost entirely by word of mouth. Receiving accolades from everyone from Julieta Venegas, to the well respected taste making blog Club Fonograma, to even recently being booked to open for Natalia Lafourcada. Carla Morrison has been working very hard to hone her craft and has grown into a force to be reckoned with, as she gathers material for her first solo album, set to be released sometime soon (we hope).
