Controversial Music Video Director Romain Gavras Releases Debut Feature Film Notre Jour Viendra

notre jour viendra - feature film trailer from ROMAIN-GAVRAS on Vimeo.

From Pitchfork:
Romain Gavras directed two of the most violent and polarizing music videos of recent years: M.I.A.'s "Born Free" and Justice's "Stress". Now, Dazed & Confused reports that he has directed his feature debut, Notre Jour Viendra (Our Day Will Come). (Fun fact: Romain is the son of political French filmmaker Costa-Gavras.)
Continuing with the gingers-under-siege theme from "Born Free", the film stars Olivier Barthélémy and Vincent Cassel (Ocean's Twelve) as redheads who "embark on a hallucinatory journey to Ireland in a quest for freedom," according to the Toronto International Film Festival, which screens the movie next week.

Our Day Will Come features a score from Ed Banger artist SebastiAn and is out in France September 15. Watch the trailer above.
